Unable to start application in app testing

I put in the path for the application I want Katalon to open to do some testing and it will not open. The error is
Unable to start application. Reason:. Connection refused: connect.

I am not sure if it is something I am doing wrong or if the application does not have allowance to open this way?

You need to start WinAppDriver first.

Hi,

I am getting the same issue as above, but my problem is that my Katalon is installed on a VM that is running Windows 7 and thus I cannot install the WinAppDriver as explained above.

Do you have any recommendations for me in this regard? I have to run windows 7 on the VM due to software limitations

Hi @nic,

WinAppDriver can only be installed on Windows 10 only.
