True Skills Adopts the Agent Plugins Standard for AI Testing
Katalon’s open-source True Skills library has adopted Agent Plugins 1.0.0—on day one of the standard’s launch.
Agent Plugins is an open, vendor-neutral plugin format for AI agents. Version 1.0.0 launched on August 6 and is governed by a steering committee with representatives from Amazon, Cursor, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Vercel.
On August 7, True Skills adopted the standard to make AI testing skills easier to discover, reuse, and integrate across compatible AI-agent workflows.
What this means for AI testing teams
True Skills provides an open-source library of reusable skills for AI-assisted testing. By adopting Agent Plugins, the library aligns with an open format that helps teams work with skills across their preferred AI-agent tools rather than a proprietary integration model.
