i have a question related to https://scoutqa.ai/
i knew it’s not about katalon, but that product is owned by katalon. so i think i can ask about it here

so my question is, how to stop the running execution? i’ve tried to click the :stop_button: (stop button), but the status keep telling me Running

First, thanks a lot for checking out Scout :blush: I’m Henrik, an engineer on the Scout team.

About your concern: the “Running” status here doesn’t mean the test is still running. It just means the session is still active, so you can come back and continue that execution while it’s alive. For logged-in users, the session will automatically close (mark Completed) after 1 hour, so no worries.

And thank you for pointing this out, we’ll also review the wording to make it less confusing. Just let me know if you have any other questions or feedback!

i have another question, why the Status for the execution that triggered by Schedule/cron is not successfully running? it always showing Cancelled

forgot to attach the Schedule configuration

Awwwwwwww, I just checked, it’s truly a bug. Something has been off with the schedule since about 2 weeks ago, and we’re on it now. Thanks again! I’ll let you know as soon as it’s fixed.

We just fixed the scheduling issue. Feel free to try it again now or you can simply wait for the next scheduled run to double-check that everything looks good.

did you removed the Mode selection (Quick mode / Deep mode) on Create New Schedule form? because last time i tried, if i’m not mistaken, there was a Mode selection on it

We didn’t remove anything in the last hotfix :smiley: On the Schedule form, the Mode (Quick / Deep) option actually wasn’t there. Originally, we planned:

  • Quick mode = faster response when you’re in a rush or want to get feedback ASAP.

  • Deep mode = more thorough checks, tries to cover as much as possible

For Schedules, since it runs in the background and doesn’t cost your waiting time, we currently run schedules in Deep mode by default.

But we do plan to bring Mode selection to schedules in Mar release when we introduce Smart Mode.
