Hi Katalon Community,
I’m currently completing the Katalon Professional Level Certification using Katalon Studio Enterprise 11.5.0.
I have now completed all Professional Certification requirements except:
Run test executions with Debug mode: 2/10
I have already performed more than the required number of Debug executions, including executions using different test cases.
For each Debug execution, I followed the standard Debug Mode flow:
- Opened the test case in Script view
- Added a breakpoint
- Started the execution using Debug, not a normal Run
- Entered the Debug Perspective
- Confirmed that execution stopped at the breakpoint
- Resumed the execution
- Allowed the test case to complete successfully
I have repeated this process with multiple different test cases, but the certification dashboard still remains at 2/10.
For context, I previously also experienced delayed tracking for Data-Driven Test Executions. The DDT counter was stuck at 3/10 for some time, but it has now successfully updated to 10/10.
At this point, Debug Mode is the only remaining requirement for my Professional Certification.
My current environment:
- Katalon Studio Enterprise: 11.5.0
- Debug executions performed at Test Case level
- Breakpoints successfully hit
- Debug Perspective successfully opened
- Executions completed successfully
I have screenshots and screen recordings showing the complete Debug execution process and can provide them if needed.
I have also contacted certifications@katalon.com, but I have not received a response yet.
Could someone from the Katalon team please help verify whether my Debug executions are being correctly tracked by the certification backend?
I also found a previous Community discussion where Katalon mentioned there were issues with tracking Debug executions, so I’m wondering whether this could be related.
