I posted the original topic in November 2021 and argued that the Log Viewer in Katalon Studio v8.2.0 significantly slows down the test execution. Now it’s June 2026. The latest version of Katalon Studio is v11.1.3. Has anything changed?
I checked out the test project from GitHub:
I installed Katalon Studio v8.2.0 and v11.1.3. I ran the TS1 in both versions and measured by stopwatch how long it takes to complete.

It is obvious. TS1 ran far faster on v11.1.3 than v8.2.0.
