It takes more than 30 seconds to locate any element on the Gmail inbox page.
Example Xpath used: “//div[@aria-label=‘Refresh’]”

I haven’t experienced this on other web pages, is there something different about Gmail?

Must be, I guess. Did you try using CSS locators? XPath is not necessarily the fastest mechanism (doesn’t need to be since it’s generally not a critical user facing web component).

I doubt it. I guess, your test script is unable to open the Gmail inbox page at all.
