Error "Connection refused: no further information" by recording Windows action

I’m trying to setup Katalon for creating testscripts for desktop applications. I’m following the instruction in Katalon and are at the step for recording my first test.

But I get this error below. Anyone a solution?

accessing your app behind any firewall ?

I’m following the tutorial in Katalon for getting started with creating script for desktop applications (menu Help - Tutorials). The application is on my laptop (notepad++).
And with webapps I didn’t have this problem…

I think you are trying to make a Windows project within the Web project folder. Reread the instructions again on how to start to make a Windows project.

No, I created a new project and selected the type “Desktop”

But with searching the internet I found this solution Katalon Studio 7.0 RC1 Win Application connection refused - #5 by duyluong (with searching in the forum I didn’t find this topic).
With manually starting the Windows Application Driver in admin-mode I was able to record a script for a desktop application.
