Cucumber stack over flow error

I have an intermittent StackOverFlow error with using Katalon on Mac, which i use as my development machine.

I run tests on Windows, where, i have not come across this issue.

I heavily use the BDD functionality of Katalon and this issue has occurred on several occasions which prevents progress.

Currently, the only way i can see to resolve this issue is to move Katalon BDD development to a VM using Ubuntu (not using Mac for development). This appears to be a heavy-handed approach, but currently, i don’t think i have an alternative.
