Caused by: org.openqa.selenium.ElementClickInterceptedException: Element <textarea id="tabscontent:tabView:function_textarea_0_1" class="ui-inputfield ui-inputtextarea ui-widget ui-state-default ui-corner-all" name="tabscontent:tabView:function_textarea_0_1"> is not clickable at point (709,226) because another element <div id="tabscontent:j_idt469" class="ui-outputpanel ui-widget projectLeft"> obscures it

And when you run the TC manually, there is no div who obscures the textarea on Firefox ?
You can try create a new object with this div and add a step Wait For Element Not Visible on this new object

Delay
Wait For Element Not Visible [div]
Click [textarea]
