Check if element not present in Windows

Hello
Is there a way to check if the element is not present in Windows App?
I tried:
Windows.findElement(findWindowsObject('Object Repository/folder1/folder2/tbSimple), FailureHandling.OPTIONAL)
but it still ends the test and throws:
