Extent Report itself does not require the Enterprise license of Katalon. I have ever tried Extent Report with Katalon Studio Free. See the following posts of mine.

I did this experiment using Katalon Studio Free v10.1.0.

I proposed an idea to change the source of the built-in class com.kms.katalon.core.logging.KeywordLogger. I believe, the change is necessary to make Extent Report really useful with Katalon. Unless this hack implemented by the Katalon Studio product, it is pointless to introduce Extent Report to a Katalon project.

My conclusion

It is not practical, worth-trying to apply Extent Report to Katalon. Katalon is not extensible to work with Extent Report and other reporting frameworks. You should rather embrace the existing Katalon-built-in report.
