Please let us know what you are using Katalon Studio for? 7.8.0 and 7.8.1 1.) I have been using Katalon Studio for 3+ years with this setup. How would your work be affected if this issue has not been resolved? I can continue my job, resolving this ticket can boost my performance - This would require a significant refactor in code if the theoretical fix will correct the behavior Operating System Windows 10 Open Browser with ‘’ 2.) Navigate URL 3.) Do thing in Application When step 2 hits in the collection nothing is happening, this is a problem in both Chrome and Firefox. After the browser is opened, the driver just seizes up without any excess memory consumption or errors. [image] Additional environment details are: Latest version of Chrome, latest Chrome Driver, lastest version of Firefox, latest Firefox version latest Katalon.

@duyluong @ThanhTo I witnessed this. Couldn’t see anything obvious wrong with Russ’ code. There has to be something screwy in here, but I couldn’t find it.

Hi @Russ_K, Can you share us the full console log in the your above attachment here?

Actually thats all there is, it just hangs and doesnt go beyond the last entry in the console screen shot provided.

A screenshot of the app just sitting there spinning its wheels might help.

[image] So this is as far as it gets, it just spins and does not proceed, the chrome driver is successfully launched, however the tests just spin.

Hi @Russ_K, Actually thats all there is, it just hangs and doesnt go beyond the last entry in the console screen shot provided. Does this happen with Firefox as well? Please try with v7.7.2 and confirm it works well for you with the same ChromeDriver version or not?

Yes this is also happening in Firefox, I confirmed with a colleague that on 7.7.2 there are no issues with the test cases. I am downloading now to test locally.

In all 4 tests shown in the screen shot it was able to continue to the Navigate portion of the Test Suite with 7.7.2 in Chrome. [image]

Russ… Heads up: We are expecting this to FAIL. In 7.8.x Start a new project. Create a VERY similar 3-step test case. Run it in isolation (standalone Test Case). Add it ALONE to a new test suite. Post the results. EDIT: One more thing. If it FAILS, zip it up and post it here for @duyluong (PM might be best).

Same results, I’ll PM @duyluong [image] All this is doing is 1.) Open browser 2.) Navigate to Katalon.com 3. Click Get Started
