Hi,
It is such a wonderful sharing about this issue. There might be lots of people who can gain benefits from your post.
According to this issue of Chrome Driver not being able to auto-upgrade, Chrome for Testing is a great alternative. We also have a video of a workaround with Chrome for Testing to help you.
My team also suggest another workaround as the following:
- Download new webdrivermanager-5.6.3 here: https://github.com/bonigarcia/webdrivermanager/releases/download/webdrivermanager-5.6.3/webdrivermanager-5.6.3-fat.jar
- Replace the name from webdrivermanager-5.6.3-fat.jar to webdrivermanager-5.4.1-fat.jar and overwrite the old at /Applications//Contents/Eclipse/configuration/resources/tools/webdriver/webdrivermanager-5.4.1-fat.jar
Hope this can help. Thank you!
