Question about missing functionality since 9.x.x

Will the free version be reintroduced with a section that simulates the Custom keywords functionality?

I don’t think anyone from Katalon will respond to this post from @ester.martinez. Why? In Dec 2023, there were some discussions in this forum about the removal of Custom Keywords from the Free version of Katalon Studio. For example,

Then I expected Katalon to respond to our discussion. But they did not react. It seems that they are reluctant to talk about this issue.

it took me a long time to generate these custom keywords and to introduce them in my tests, and with the change all is lost

Not lost yet . You can continue and stay with Katalon Studio Free v9.0.x. The 9.0.x is the last version which provides the Custom Keyword feature free.

In the Open Source Software world, there are a few alternative E2E testing tools such as Playwright by Microsoft. I would recommend you, @ester.martinez, to look at those alternatives.
