# Your next certifications: True AI Tester and True AI Expert

Hi everyone 👋

We’ve launched two certifications on Katalon Academy: **True AI Tester** and **True AI Expert**.

These are hands-on certifications. You enroll, complete a set of testing activities in Katalon products, and earn a credential you can share on your professional profile. There’s no certification exam.

The activities combine testing skills with AI. Here’s what you’ll practice in each. 👇

## True AI Tester

This covers manual testing, with no coding required:

- **Designing tests:** Create cases yourself and with AI, then review the generated cases before approving them.
- **Running and exploring:** Organize test suites, run tests with and without AI, and investigate application behavior through live exploratory testing.
- **Understanding and sharing results:** Review completed executions, use AI dashboard insights, and communicate findings through reports or issues.

It gives you practice working through the manual testing process, including checking AI-generated work and investigating results yourself.

## True AI Expert

This builds on experience with test automation:

- **Creating automated tests:** Work in Katalon Studio and use the AI agent to help with scenarios, data, and scripts.
- **Managing executions:** Bring test assets into True Platform, schedule recurring runs, and execute across environments.
- **Investigating failures and assessing readiness:** Use AI analysis alongside test results to understand failures and explain release risks.

It gives you practice managing the wider workflow around automated tests, from creating them to helping your team understand the results.

## How to get certified

1. Explore the requirements and how the program works (there’s a short demo on the page)
2. Enroll in your chosen certification.
3. Complete the required hands-on testing activities using Katalon solutions
4. Claim your credential and share it on your profile.

Both certifications are **free to pursue and valid for two years.** You’ll need access to True Platform; Expert also includes activities in Katalon Studio.
