Unable to use Katalon on linux build agent

#1

I got a bit further when using a windows build agent (the free agents from microsoft) but they seem to use Oracle Java so I got lots of “missing reference” errors when running tests.

Then I changed to use my own hosted agent running ubuntu and I get:

2019-08-29T09:34:07.1993210Z GET https://raw.githubusercontent.com/katalon-studio/katalon-studio/master/releases.json 200.
2019-08-29T09:34:07.2030584Z Unexpected file name Katalon_Studio_Linux_64-6.2.0.tar.gz

which is weird since that filename is listed in the json response above.

I’ve tried changing versions but I get the same issue regardless.

Any idea on what I’m doing wrong?

For posterity, I “fixed” this by creating my own build agent that already had katalon studio pre installed and used the “Use pre-installed Katalon Studio” option in azure devops to point to the installation path. this got me going.

Also as a side note, if you want azure devops to show your test results, you have to install the plugin “Basic Report” for Katalon Studio, generate an api-key, pass the api-key as a commandline arg and finaly add a task for publishing test reports
