I downloaded the latest Katalon exe and also installed chrome browser 99.0.4844.82.
However Katalon currently I am unable to upgrade the Katalon webdriver so it supports this version. From Tools >> Update Drivers >> Chrome , it just hangs with the message “Updating web driver” for hours and nothing happens.
I have restarted my system, logged out and logged back in Katalon no luck.

You should close all the running chrome drivers first by using Tools → Web → Terminate Running WebDrivers and check your network connection to https://chromedriver.storage.googleapis.com/index.html then try to update again.
If the above solution does NOT work, please try to replace chromedriver manually: https://docs.katalon.com/katalon-studio/docs/update-or-downgrade-webdrivers.html#replace-a-webdriver

Found Tools -> Web -> Terminate Running WebDrivers didn’t always work.
I had to go to the task manager and end the Chrome browser there, I found there were a few floating about so had to end them all.
