Unable to run CMD with a different userlogin

Hi,

I have tried to integrate my project with Jenkins and tried to hit the command line with my creds on the execution machine(Jenkins remote). But, when I tried to login as a different user and hit the same command it couldn’t open the browser and run my suite. It opens the console though but not the browser. I could also see the compile errors for “unable to resolve class internal.GlobalVariable”

This has been seen since long and my current Katalon version is 5.10.1. Please help. Attaching my log

The katalon command line runner is so annoying. I tried the same scenario(with different user) and Hit the GUI and it was working.

I have this problem a lot when I’m cloning a project onto a remote machine for the first time, or when I’m updating the project files from the repository.

Make sure that you’ve opened the project in the studio at least once, or try refreshing the project altogether, on the remote machine. This allows the studio to compile/recompile all project code, including the GlobalVariable.class file that is popping up in your error.

Those error messages are just warnings. You can ignore them.

Please try running a simple test suite with only a single test case and see if it’s executed completely.

Also, is your Jenkins running as a Windows service? Services run in session 0 and will not show browser windows.

Hello Brendon, Tried doing it but the complie issue still exists.

Mine is a win 10 workstation and while I logged in with my creds the commad line seems to work and it opens the browser. I logged in with a different user(Jenkins config user) now into the same machine and hit the command. The browser was not open . But it works fine with GUI mode. This is so wierd.
