guy.mason also left an insightful comment the other day about Testing Efficiency in which he argued that testing efficiency is not all about achieving 100% coverage or speed, but rather about focusing on the most relevant and risky areas of the application under test.

He went on to say that contextually analyzing what is appropriate and necessary to cover can save time and resources, while still ensuring quality and minimizing regressions.
