# Take Screenshot when execution failed takes a screenshot whenever a test step fails

I understand the feature to take a screenshot when the execution fails so you get a screenshot from the last working step. I experienced it to take a screenshot everytime a test step fails even though the test still continues. For example I have a test where I check for an element to not be present and I have to set the failure handling to “optional” because Katalon can’t find the element if everything goes right and I want the test to continue. But everytime Katalon can’t find the element it takes a screenshot although the overall test doesn’t fail. As I loop this particular test I end up with lots of screenshots I don’t need.  
Please tell me if this is a bug or if I’m just using the feature VerifyElementNotPresent wrong.

I think it would be a solid enhancement if taking screenshots for optional test steps becomes, well, optional.

That way test reports don’t get unnecesarrily bloated.
