## Hey, When I tried to import a SoapUI project to Katalon Studio, it only mapped out the tests into directories, but didn’t create any “Web Service Request” object. The SoapUI .xml file seems fine, so I can’t really tell why it fails to import it properly. Anyone knows why this happens? If it helps, I’m using Katalon Studio 10.0.0 on Windows 11 ---

I tried following this guide - [Import web service requests from SoapUI to Katalon Studio](https://docs.katalon.com/katalon-studio/test-objects/api-test-objects/import-web-service-objects/import-web-service-requests-from-soapui-to-katalon-studio) I imported my SoapUI project (Which is basically a really big .xml file), it only mapped out the directories int the form of paths for each “Endpoint test”, but didn’t actually create any “Web Service Request” objects. ---

Hey @Elly_Tran , I’ve looked at the API testing course - sadly, it doesn’t have the solution I’m looking for… The course speaks about importing singular SOAP requests, while I need to Import an entire SoapUI project to Katalon Studio. I’ve contacted Katalon Studio support, but do you have a different solution perhaps? ---

Hey @Shin , I attached the log file here - [Error Log](https://forum.katalon.com/uploads/short-url/hqGivVis9zHqO64Gr6soFQMJkRd) (827.7 KB) For now, I did find a work-around - 1. I installed SoapUI 2. I imported my SoapUI project into SoapUI. 3. In SoapUI, I exported the project’s Swagger/OpenAPI Definition (In JSON format) 4. I imported the JSON file into My Katalon Studio object repository “From OpenAPI” However, it was a cumbersome process and it took me 2 weeks to get to that. I would appreciate if you could help me with fixing the SoapUI import issue 🙂 ---

@oren Are you going to use Katalon Studio for API testing? Are you serious? I evaluate the API testing feature of Katalon Studio is not good. It has several shortcomings identified years ago and left unfixed. As I said before, I’m still testing the product to see if it fits my company’s needs. I only figured out how to import my API request objects 1 hour ago and still haven’t got to testing that. Clearly, I didn’t know about this 🙂 Thank you for letting me know. I’ll definitely take it into consideration ---

@oren Thanks for exploring Katalon Studio for your API Testing demand. I went through the error log attachment but couldn’t find useful information. It would be great if you could reproduce it again and send us the Console log. @duy.lam I also checked the event log and it didn’t have any relevant comments. Could it be that this feature is for Enterprise license (Which I don’t have) and is accidentally not blocked for some reason?
