# SessionNotCreatedException: unable to create a new remote session

hi all, i have this problem, but i don’t know

appium 1.12.1  
katalon 6.3.3  
xcode 11.0

i launched an ios simulator on katalon studio, but connection not work

There are often incompatibilities between Xcode and Appium. I have had success with Xcode 11 and Appium 1.15.1, so if you can try those versions, they may work for you, too.

Hi @Chris_Trevarthen,

I read lots of posts on internet from you, and installed the Appium Version 1.15.1 with Xcode 11.1 to work with Katalon and IOS simulators.

I am not able to run any tests on the simulators. I’m also using .app file for the simulators. The .app file is installed successfully, but cannot be opened. The screen flashes and close down. This happens lots of time during the execution of the Katalon test.

Actually, I’m totally new to the Automation world, so any help is appreciated. I am attaching the logs for the reference,

what is the solution if i cannot modify/off firewall?  
i hit the same error, added exclues localhost and 127.0.0.1 but same error.

i am running winapp driver at 127.0.0.1:4723

It is system, manual proxy  
At excludes field. I have localhost, 127.0.0.1  
Thats all I have set.
