Hi team, I am getting below error when I am trying to cloan a workspace from bit bucket to Katalon Studio-

Failed to write credentials for ‘https://git…’ to secure store
Salt must be 8 bytes long

Can any one please help me on this?

Hello Sir, I was able to resolve this issue by looking at Failed to write credentials

even though I do not have installed eclipse but I just deleted the file “secure_storage” from the location C:\Users*******.eclipse\org.eclipse.equinox.security and issue got fixed.

Hello Sir, Failed to write credentials says i need to have Eclipse but i do not have that in my system, then how can I fix this issue?

Hi @vishal.shrivastava1, Katalon includes an eclipse integration so there is nothing to fix.

If you’re still seeing the issue maybe there is a Katalon/Eclipse installation issue. You can try reinstalling Katalon from scratch. Download the most recent version of Katalon if you need to; then do the following:

  1. Backup (archive) all your Katalon projects.
    **I always backup my projects before working on them.
  2. Reinstall Katalon in a new folder.
  3. Reopen Katalon.
