# Running in client mode : The number of valid offline licenses: 0

Hi, Im running this command in CMD: katalonc -noSplash -runMode=console -projectPath=“C:\Katalon-Projects\AT-CP\AT-CP.prj” -retry=0 -testSuitePath=“Test Suites/1. CP - Profile” -executionProfile=“QA” -browserType=“Chrome” -apiKey=“myapi”

And get this error:

Please make sure you have already followed all steps in [this tutorial](https://docs.katalon.com/katalon-studio/docs/re-offline-licenses.html) to activate KRE offline.

My KRE licence is a Katalon Runtime Engine (DevOps). Do I need an offline licence to run in CLI mode? Thanks

Hi @pgonzalez

If you purchased a DevOps license, then you must use Docker or Azure DevOps to execute tests.

This requires a node-locked KRE license which (I assume) you don’t have, hence the error.
