Today we are releasing the September 6th, 2023 update to the Katalon Platform which mainly refine our Starter Plan to offer more value to our prospective paid customers.
Below are some of the new changes…
The Starter Plan now offer more adaptable product bundlings to better align with our users’ individual requirements. Now with up to 6 packages to choose from (with the option to upgrade), you now have more flexibility to choose which package to best suit your testing needs.

Upgrade option: If you are currently a subscriber of our Starter plan, you now have the opportunity to upgrade your current package to a higher-value one within the subscription cycle of your initial package.

Coterminosity: The upgraded package will seamlessly align with the subscription cycle of your initial starter package. This ensures simplicity and fairness in pricing, with costs pro-rated according to the cycle.

Additional products: The purchase of any additional single products will be at the listing price, and their subscription cycle will also align with that of your starter package.

Renewals: Products within the package will be automatically renewed at the listing price at the conclusion of your subscription cycle.
Enhancements
We have improved the UI/UX of the subscription management interface to be more compact and lean to better highlight the offerings with the Starter Plan.
- “Your current subscriptions”: This section will transform into a collapse/expand panel. By default, it will be collapsed whenever you visit the subscription management page.
- “Get more single products”: Similarly, this section will also be converted into a collapse/expand panel. For starter users, it will stay collapsed by default when you land on the subscription management page.
