# Is anyone getting an authentication error logging into Katalon, with new version?

Authentication error logging into Katalon. Steps taken were as follows:  
In Katalon studio Activation window which appears when logging into Katalon  
Enter Email, Password  
Click Activate button  
error ‘Please make sure your credentials are valid’  
Tried resetting the password  
Still can’t login  
Not able to log a support ticket.  
Tried sending email to [support@katalon.com](mailto:support@katalon.com)

Also add your .log file to this posting so forum members can help you with your issue.  
Your log file should be in your KS folder, for example: C:\Katalon\_Studio\_Windows\_64-8.4.0\config.metadata\
