Is there a guide on how to start a Microsoft Store application without navigating to the exe? Starting a session with the exe file is causing problems that were not there if it was started through the start menu.
Start Menu items are usually Windows shortcuts. Windows shortcuts can have arguments. You need to figure out what they are and supply them in the same way to the exe.
Either that or copy the shortcut right next to the exe and run that.
