Finishing of the first tutorial on Windows Action Recorder using Notepad, I’m running into issues with recording submenus.
I would like the following to happen
- Start Notepad.exe
- Write some text in editor
- Click File Menu item
- Click Save Sub Menu item
- Enter a filename in save dialog
- Save filename
- Close application
I manage to click file and open the menu, but then when recording the sub menu (step 4) it fails. Probably due to the menu itself no longer being open in the application.
What’s the recommended approach for this scenario which I would guess is very basic.
