How does the timeout operation is performed in between the two keywords waitForElementPresent and verifyElementPresent ?

using Katalon 6.1
WebUI.verifyElementPresent(webobj, 10)
On execution of this method, on timeout, the execution fails and error log reported.

WebUI.waitForElementVisible(webobj, 10)
On execution of this method, on timeout, the execution doesn’t fail and on console, it prints element not found..

Verify keyword throws an exception if the element is not found.
WaitFor keyword returns false and writes warning message into a log.

Thanks for the reply.

Also what happens when we use WebUI.waitForElementVisible(webobj, 10, FailureHandling.STOP\_ON\_FAILURE) ? will it show step failed ?
