I wanted to automate a sign up process using katalon but during that process there is a CAPTCHA. Is there a way that I can automatically fill in captcha or a work around to disregard this during the sign up process?

I don’t think you can automate it. A CAPTCHA is there in order to reject any automation at all.
I would recommend to you to speak to your Web development team, and ask them to provide a special URL without CAPTCHA so that you can do automated testing through it.
