is there any plans to add folders to Profiles section so you can subdivide them? that will be really very useful!

Why do you need it?
Please add more context on the intended usage
For API testing, It will be nice to have a better overview of the different environments (Profiles) for the same Test Suites. For Example:
Profiles:
-EnvironmentA
–DataTestSuite1
–DataTestSuite2
-EnvironmentB
–DataTestSuite1
–DataTestSuite2
.
.
.
.
You can simply name them:
Dev profile 1
Dev profile 2
Staging profile1
Staging profile2
Prod profile x
… And so on
Data it is not a relevant name for a profile, imho. Just saying
