Today, we’re thrilled to share some exciting milestones with you!

First, Katalon Academy has reached an impressive 100,000 course enrollments. This remarkable number showcases not only your commitment to upskilling from Manual to Automation testing but also how well you have received our learning materials.

Simultaneously, the Katalon Certification Program has just surpassed 5,000 Certificates issued to testing experts like you around the world. This achievement reflects your dedication to advancing your careers and validating your Katalon expertise.

To celebrate these milestones, we invite you to share your learning stories with us. By doing so, you will:

  • Inspire and motivate fellow testers on their learning journeys
  • Have the chance to receive exciting gifts as our token of appreciation
  • Potentially be featured on our Learners’ Stories page and social media

From now until 2024-08-30T16:59:00Z, simply:

  1. Share your learning journey with us via the form below:

:information_source: Within the form, you will need to share with us about why you decided to learn on Katalon Academy, as well as what you were able to achieved with the knowledge and skills gained.

:information_source: Boost your chances of being featured by providing detailed answers backed up by real-life examples and achievements.

  1. Before submitting the form, take a screenshot of the end screen and reply to this thread with said screenshot to enter our giveaway (details below).

Rewards for your participation :gift:

After 2024-08-30T16:59:00Z, we will announce the three (3) lucky draw winners who will receive:

  • A $15 eGift card each.

Afterwards, we will also review all submitted stories and select up to ten (10) members who wrote the most compelling stories. These winners will receive:

  • A $30 eGift Card each.
  • The opportunity to have your story and LinkedIn profile featured on Katalon Academy.

We cannot wait to read about your experiences and achievements! Your stories will inspire the community and showcase the impact of your hard work in mastering Katalon.

Notes:

  • All eGift Cards will be issued in US Dollars ($).
  • A 3% currency conversion fee will apply to all Global eGift card orders when changing from USD to your local currency at redemption. For details, please refer to the Gift Card redemption guide.
Is this activity open to all Academy learners or only those with a certification?

This activity is open to all Academy learners. Certification status is not a requirement, as we’re interested in hearing how you’ve applied your Katalon Academy learning to your work, regardless of certification.

How can I increase my chances of winning and having my story featured?

To improve your chances:

  1. Provide detailed answers with real-life examples to support your statements.
  2. For relevant questions, use the STAR Method (Situation - Task - Action - Result) to describe how you applied your Katalon Academy knowledge to tackle specific challenges.
  3. Focus on concrete outcomes and measurable improvements in your work resulting from your Katalon Academy learning.

Remember, the more specific and illustrative your responses, the higher your chances of being selected as a winner or having your story featured.

Some participants from last year’s activity - who are also featured on our Learners’ Stories page reached out to us and asked whether they would be able to win this year’s Most Compelling Stories prize. And, after discussing with our Academy team, we have decided that:

  • If you have already been featured on our Learners’ Stories page, you can still join in this year’s activity and enter the lucky draw but you will not be eligible to win the Most Compelling Stories prize.
