Is their a way to utilize API keys within the platform or any other potential _work arounds_ Katalon may have? **PURPOSE** : I want to send emails to management. hi @naomy.arnold two things that bite almost everyone on that settings page. sendgrid: the username field is not your sendgrid login, it has to be the literal word `apikey`, and the password is the api key itself (the SG.xxxx string). host [smtp.sendgrid.net](http://smtp.sendgrid.net), port 587, security STARTTLS. with the account email as username sendgrid rejects the login every time and the error looks like a bad password. outlook / office 365: microsoft disabled basic smtp auth for most tenants in 2022-2023, so a normal mailbox password fails even without 2fa. you need [smtp.office365.com](http://smtp.office365.com), port 587, STARTTLS, “authenticated smtp” switched on for that mailbox by your admin (exchange admin center \> mailbox \> email apps), and if the tenant has security defaults on, an app password instead of the account password. port 25 does not work for authenticated sending there at all. either one works from the project settings once the credentials are right, no plugin needed. if it still fails, hit “send test email” and paste the exact exception text here, the smtp reply code (535, 550, 530) tells which of these it is. ---

Traditional email integration methods like **SMTP, IMAP, and POP3** no longer work out-of-the-box for automated test reporting if you are using Microsoft 365 or Gmail. Both **Microsoft and Google** have deprecating legacy solutions and Basic Authentication.
