Custom plugin for export on firefox not working

When I try to load my custom (or the example plugin) for the export, it seems to only use the xml “normal” export.

See this screenshot I made to illustrate the problem.

Tested in several computers with firefox 59+

I shall add that this is working fine with chrome, but it would be great if it could work in firefox because it’s my company standart browser.

Can anyone help please ? I’m stuck I don’t really know what to do to make it work in firefox.

This is the message I get in the console " Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #external-exporter-bcd23515c3e854c4bac30d6a62e74f21b6327f66@temporary-addon-custom"

Any ideas ?

UPDATE : if someone needs a temporary fix for firefox I posted it here. It would be nice if this could be fixed one day.

Can confirm this is still broken, problem is on line 647 of katalon/kar.js

Basically they are failing to escape an @ in the selector auto-generated in the plugin ID.

Changing:

var option = $(’#’ + language);

to

var option = $(’#’ + language.replace(/@/,"\\@"));

Would fix the problem. Unfortunate that this has been broken nearly a year now.
