Can we delete lines from "settings->internal->com.kms.katalon.execution.properties" file?

Hi,

At the bottom of settings->internal->com.kms.katalon.execution.properties file, I’ve some folder names that I no longer need. For example, from the list below, I no longer need the folder called “NewFiles”, “Requests” and “Responses”. Is it safe to delete these lines from the “settings->internal->com.kms.katalon.execution.properties” file?

Thanks

I have no immediate answer to your question.

I have a question to you @mqamar:

Why do you want to delete some lines out of that file?
Why don’t you leave that file as is?
Any reason?

No reason, I like to delete anything that I’m not using.

My guess: it’s safe to delete them.
My knowledge in this area: none.

It’s likely this that you’re looking at:

As long as you leave the file in syntactically the same state as you found it, deleting a few entries should be harmless.

Disclaimer: I have not tried this.

Take a backup of the file first.

Just wanted to give an update. I deleted those files last week, so far, no issues.

Cool. Thanks for reporting back.
