Android App Hanging on Launch

Hi Guys,

First of all, thanks for all your work on Katalon - it’s working very well for us.

However, I have encountered the following error when trying to launch my application on my android device:

[ADB] Extracting package and launch activity from manifest

The full log looks like this:

The app is installing correctly, but then hangs on this screen and never lanuches:

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’ve no problems when using your application. It loads the application successfully, so can you tell me which Appium version and Katalon version you are using?

Can you try with latest version 5.3? I’ve used that version and don’t see any errors as well.

Hi there,

I still haven’t observed this issue on my machine after many tries, and I’m using Nexus 6 / 9 . Can you try with some Android emulators such as BlueStacks?

Are you using two monitors? Hanging error like that used to came from another Katalon window popup on another monitor.
You need to make sure using only one monitor screen exclusively for Katalon Studio
