This category is for Katalon Academy learners to come and discuss all things related to the Katalon Certification program. As we recently launched this program, there’re bound to be some rough edges here and there; thus, we greatly appreciate any feedback that you have and will do our best to resolve any issue that you run into. :+1:

“Test executions on Katalon TestCloud through TestOps” is one of the requirement for Practitioner level certification.

I login TestCloud and have the warning message “Your TestCloud free trial has expired. You can not schedule test runs in TestCloud environment. Buy TestCloud License now.”

Is it a must to buy the license or I cannot get the cert.? thx.

We’re glad to see you’re working hard towards your certification! At the moment, the easiest way for you to gain a free TestCloud license is to actually participate in Katalon Community and engage with other members.

Based on our Kudos Rewards Scheme, you’d need 350 Kudos to redeem for a 3-month usage of TestCloud. The road to 350 Kudos may seem like a daunting one, but it’s easier than you think. Here are some of the things you can do within 1-2 weeks to rack up more Kudos points:

  • Invite up to 10 members to Katalon Community
  • Create up to 4 topics/day (ask questions about using Katalon platform, or start a conversation about a topic of your choice within Miscellaneous)
  • Reply to 5 topics/day if you know the answer to others’ questions.
