Able to launch Edge but cannot pass the URL to the address bar

Hi all,

I’m able to launch Edge but cannot pass the URL to the address bar i get the below error
com.kms.katalon.core.exception.StepFailedException: Unable to open browser with url: ‘’

Can someone please help.

There have been alot of issues raised regarding the same response. Could you please make sure you are using the latest version of KS and all drivers are up to date.

Hi @hpulsford I have tried but no luck. My issue is the edge is opening but I’m not able to send the url to address bar.

And you are able to run the test with another browser fine?

Yes the same test runs in chrome, firefox , IE without any issue

This is a suggestion someone posted in a similar topic, maybe give it a try.
