I keep getting java.lang.NullPointerException whenever i use record mobile for an android application.I am using version 5.7.1 .Anyone found a solution to this?

i am using appium version 1.9

I have the same problem. Iā€™m using Katalon Studio 5.6.

I had multiple issues with Katalon when using Appium version 1.9. Downgrading Appium to version 1.7.2 fixed all my issues

I tried @Jamie Andrews and it did fixed my issue. I did record a test using physical android device. Thanks!
