GDPR compliance and Katalon Analytics security

As some of you already know, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is coming into effect on May 25th. It deals with protection of personal data and I think most of us work with some form of personal data.

That’s why, I think we should be able to setup Katalon Analytics on local machines if it is going to be of any use at all. Users should also be able to remove reports that have been previously uploaded.

Now, GDPR is a European Union regulation, but:
“The GDPR not only applies to organisations located within the EU but it will also apply to organisations located outside of the EU if they offer goods or services to, or monitor the behaviour of, EU data subjects. It applies to all companies processing and holding the personal data of data subjects residing in the European Union, regardless of the company’s location.”

I believe the Katalon Recorder plugin is currently also violating GDPR, I notices analytics and FB tracking when the plugin is enabled, but nowhere did I have to accept or was I able to change this behaviour.
