Katalon Studio 5.0 is hanging after clicking on recording window using IE 11.0

I have configured the IE 11.0 as per the documentation but still Katalon Studio 5.0 hanging after clicking on recording window using IE 11.0 Can you please help me out this since it’s blocker for automating my application

There are some more configuration we need to check before able to recording with IE.
What kind of error message do you have?

  1. Having the dialog minimized and there is nothing we could do with Katalon studio.

  2. Having the message saying that some add-ons are not installed properly

Could you double check on the following setting:

  1. IE: Manage add-on.

    We have to ensure that these 2 add-ons are installed and Enabled.
  2. If you cant find the above 2 add-ons installed, please help installing them manually from:
    \Katalon_Studio_Windows_64-5.0.0.1\configuration\resources\extensions\IE
  3. Verify step 1 again to ensure that they are both installed and enabled.
  4. Restart Katalon Studio and try the record again.
