Katalon Video is Black on Jenkins

Hi All,

I have a Jenkins server with working tests with video recordings enable on version 7.6.2. I can view my videos just fine.

When I’m going to switch to the latest version 7.9.1, the video is all black But when inspecting the video closely, there is a browser window showing up at 4-5 seconds at first then the rest of the video is black. I can also see the browser sometimes but with just a flick of a second. I can see the cursor throughout the video. So I’m assuming that there’s nothing wrong with my setup.

I am also able to replicate this on Bitbucket Pipelines with the same result

Please can you investigate this. I want to use the latest version.

PS: I’m using Katalon Runtime Engine dockers inside Jenkins. The same also on Bitbucket Pipelines.

Hi @rodolfo,

In version 7.8 and onwards, Katalon Studio support Browser-based recording.
Could you please try the feature and let me know if the issue persists?
