I think this has to do with the second parameter to the startApplication() function. If the parameter is true, it will uninstall your app every time. See this post for some more info:

Hi @zanoon2010 , Since the package is, like you said, the Google Play store, you probably won’t have permissions to remove it. You could try to run the test without uninstalling the package first by changing the 2nd argument for startApplication to false: startApplication("D:\com.android.vending.apk", false) This will just test whatever version is already installed on the device/emulator.
