I want to run Katalon in Fedora

I use Fedora, I would like to run Katalon.

FAQ states the following: “Katalon officially supports Windows 32 and 64 (7,8, and 10) and OS X 10.5+ , and unofficially supports Linux (Ubuntu 9+, Fedora 12+). ”

Where can I find this ‘unofficial’ Fedora version? If I click ‘download’ I do not see an option to download a Fedora version, also I can not find Katalon in the usual Fedora repositories.

Can I also get the link for linux build of katalon?

I intend to use it in console mode only

Interested too by the Ubuntu build + tutorial if any.

Hi, i was interested in the ubuntu build. Where can i download it? Thanks

Hi there,

We are building it and will provide to you download link later. Please note it’s not officially supported, therefore some unexpected behaviors or issues can happen.

Thanks

Hi there,

Just want to ask a quick question what is the real purpose of using Linux version from your side? Do you want to use it as a COMPLETE IDE or just use it for execution through console mode (https://docs.katalon.com/display/KD/Console+Mode+Execution)?

Thanks
